Horse GuardHampton Court Palace is one hour from London and with its magnificent gardens, famous vine and Henry VIII's tennis court offer something for all ages. Built in 1514 by Cardinal Thomas Wolsey as his personal palace it was greatly envied by Henry VIIIth. Rumour has it the ghost of Anne Boleyn walks the corridors and certain rooms where she lived and loved.

Windsor Castle tours of the weekend country residence of H.M. Queen Elizabeth with its magnificent rooms of Royal treasures and State Apartments await you.

Close by is the famous Runnymede where King John was forced at swordpoint by the Barons to sign Magna Carta in 1215 

The Cotswolds OR Stratford upon Avon (home of William Shakespeare) are only a few hours away from London 

If history excites the senses we can bring it alive with a trip to Stonehenge and its sacred Druid stone circle. How were they erected and why? 

Platform for Hogwarts ExpressIf Naval history is of interest then Southward we venture to Portsmouth. Tread the decks of H.M.S.Victory, Admiral Lord Nelson's flagship and see where he fell at the battle of Trafalgar. Nearby is The Mary Rose, flagship of King Henry VIII, salvaged from the depths of the Solent and now preserved with many of its artifacts.

During our London day tour we are happy to include a visit to Kings Cross station for Harry Potter fans as you can see by the photograph to the right. You can also visit the spot where Harry met Ron and the flying car to have your photograph taken there. We will show you the wall between platforms but can't guarantee you will make it through unless you know the spell ?If time is short we can provide a transfer from Heathrow and make it a London layover tour.
